Domaine Rouge 2018

Domaine de l'Horizon make robust French wine, like their Domaine rouge, in the hot Côtes Catalanes in Roussillon, by the Spanish border to France and just a few minutes drive away from Matassa.

Here Carignan, Syrah, Grenache, Grenache Blanc and Macabeo are commonly found. Rustic vibes meets classic, age worthy wines are what are to be expected with such wines.

Production details of Domaine Rouge: Domaine Rouge is made by Domaine de l'Horizon in the hot Côtes Catalanes of Roussillon, France, just a few minutes drive from Matassa. The blend is two-thirds Carignan and one-third Grenache Noir. Rustic vibes meet classic age-worthy structure.

Tasting Notes: We have not yet tried this vintage of Domaine Rouge by Domaine de l'Horizon, but we hear it has notes of vibrant black fruit, mineral edge, light smoke and a juicy savoury lift.
