Fattoria al Fiore's Neco series (meaning cat, as well as being short for New Experiments and Cooperation) capture a variety of traditional hybrid and table grapes grown by farming friends. The wines are approachable and easy-drinking.

Momo is a field blend of Koshu and Muscat Bailey A, the two most common varietals for white and red wines respectively in Japan. The Koshu grapes have a few hours of skin contact and the MBA is carbonic macerated for seven days. Direct-pressed and barrel-fermented Koshu is added before blending, and some fresh juice is used to spark a second fermentation in the bottle.

Softly sweet-and-sour with plum notes and a bit of grapefruit bitterness.

No sulphites added.
