Macvin du Jura

Macvin du Jura is a sweet, fortified wine from the Jura. It's traditional and different to a wine, as its fortified.

It's a 'vin de liqueur; produced by adding grape spirit to freshly harvested (or only partially fermented) grape must. In this case, Savagnin and  Chardonnay with 1/3 old Marc du Jura spirits.

Once blended together its aged for 8 years before being made available to buy.
