Zini Rosé 1 Liter is a natural wine crafted by Andreas Ziniel, one of the most exciting young additions to the Austrian natural wine scene! Based in the south eastern part of Burgenland, right at the border to Hungary.

This rosé wine is actually a red/white blend, made with Gelber Muskateller, Sauvignon Blanc, Welschriesling and Zweigelt grapes.

How does Zini Rosé by Andreas Ziniel taste?

We were REALLY impressed with this which gave us delightful notes of cranberries, cream and limes, with a pleasant perfume on the nose too. VERY GOOD!

Andreas told us he wanted to prove you CAN have a quality wine in a litre bottle, which was common from what his Grandfather used to do, but it could never be allowed to be classed or certified as a "Qualitätswein" (quality wine).

So, in respect to his grandfather but also a challenge for himself, he wanted to make his easy going, affordable litre bottle much better than you expect... and we think he's nailed it!

We ship every Wednesday. Order by Tuesday 10am.

NATURAL WINES BY ANDREAS ZINIEL

Andreas Ziniel is quickly becoming one of the most talked-about new faces in Austria’s natural wine scene! Based in the southeastern part of Burgenland, right by the Hungarian border, Andreas took over the family winery after studying viticulture and gaining experience working in wineries across South Africa, Germany, and Switzerland. Known as 'Zini' to his friends, he’s deeply committed to maintaining healthy soils in his vineyards. He grows a variety of grapes like Sylvaner, Zweigelt, Welschriesling, Pinot Blanc, Muscat, Chardonnay, and St. Laurent, and in the cellar, he focuses on short maceration periods to keep his wines fresh and easy to drink. His wines are light, vibrant, and dangerously quaffable!
