Domaine Lissner wine
Domaine Lissner is a natural wine domaine from the Alsace region in France, which dates back to 1848 and is currently run by Father & Son duo Bruno Schloegel and Theo Schloegel about 20km West of Strasbourg in a village called Wolxheim.
Farming traditional Alsace grape varietals such as Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, Auxerrois, Pinot Blanc and Gewürztraminer, the Lissner Domaine work in a very unique way in the vineyard, using a technique one the vines called "Weaving" instead of pruning. They also do not cut between the vines, never plough and let wildlife just do it's thing - meaning the vines fight amongst other Flora and this creates a very impressive amount of Biodiversity in the vineyard. Popular wines include Gewürztraminer Dionysuskapelle and their Bruch Pinot Gris.
