Huxelrebe
Huxelrebe is a white wine grape that is primarily grown in Germany and the United Kingdom. It is a cross between the grape varieties Gutedel (aka Chasselas) and Courtillier Musqué.
This grape is known for its high sugar content, which makes it ideal for producing sweet wines. It is often used in the production of late harvest and dessert wines. Huxelrebe wines are characterized by their rich and luscious flavors, with notes of honey, apricot, and tropical fruits.
In Germany, Huxelrebe is mainly grown in the Rheinhessen and Pfalz regions. In the natural wine world, it is often blended with other grapes to create a Weiss Cuvee.
