Zweigelt

Zweigelt is a natural wine crafted by Rennersistas, in the Burgenland region in Austria. This red wine is made with 100% Zweigelt grapes.

Production details of Zweigelt: Zweigelt comes from Stefanie and Georg Renner at Rennersistas in Gols, Burgenland. The wine is 100% whole-cluster fermented on the skins for 5 days in stainless steel, then ages 12 months on the lees in used foudre and Austrian oak. 20 ppm added sulphur, 12% alcohol.

Tasting Notes: We have not yet tried this vintage of Zweigelt by Rennersistas, but we hear it has notes of wild cherry, blackberry, red fruit and a juicy mineral lift.
