Poil de Lievre 2023

Poil de Lievre 2023 is a natural wine crafted by Bobinet, in Saumur, in the Loire region in France. This easy-going white wine is made with Chenin Blanc grapes, and will work best after a quick carafe.

Vinification info

Made with a variety of vines aged between 15-35 years old on limestone and clay soils, Poil de Lievre is vinified in stainless steel tanks to keep things fresh, and sees no addition of SO2.

How does Poil de Lievre taste?

Expect notes of limes, crisp green apple and stoney, mineralic elements alongside a touch of hay here, with a swift, crisp and refreshing mouthfeel.

We would call "A True Summer Smasher", Poil de Lieve will work great in the park but also for light seafood starters like Prawn Tartare.
