It's Now Or Never

It's Now Or Never 2020 is a natural wine crafted by La Despeinada, in the Catalonia region in Spain. This red wine is made with Grenache grapes.

Production details of It's Now Or Never: It's Now Or Never is made by Alex and Petra at La Despeinada in Bot, Tarragona, Catalonia. Alex grew up in the South of France and learned from Jean-Baptiste Dutheil of Château Sainte Anne in Bandol. Petra is from Austria. They were also mentees of Laureano Serres of Mendall. The wine is from 25-year-old Grenache vines cultivated using a lunar-calendar approach on limestone-rich soil. Manual harvest, crushed in stainless steel for 48 hours of skin maceration, then aged a few months in steel. No added sulphur.

Tasting Notes: We have not yet tried this vintage of It's Now Or Never by La Despeinada, but we hear it has notes of sour cherry, red berry, soft spice and a delicately herbal lift.
