Traminer 'Champs Rouge' 2022

Tramimner Champs Rouge 2022 is a natural wine crafted by Jules & Didier Grappe, in the Jura region in France. This white wine is made with 100% Savagnin grapes, taken from his best plot Champs Rouge.

Direct pressing, aged 9 months in tank. No added sulphites, as with all Jules and Didier Grappe wines.

Due to appellation rules, Jules and Didier Grappe are not allowed to call this wine Savagnin. See the video in the slide.. and a full video we made previously below

When we tried this with Didier Grappe at a BBQ we hosted in Arbois, we were blown away. There is a vibrancy and complexity here we adore, making it our favourite wines from Jules and Didier Grappe (Jules is Didier Grappe's son, also working on the domain). Big bursts of citrus, cream and a saline edge to it’s mineralic aspect too
