Grenache Blanc
A full-bodied, higher alcohol white grape native to northern Spain (and a mutation of red Grenache), Grenache Blanc is actually best known for its role in Southern French white wines like the Châteauneuf-du-Pape blend. Straw-yellow in colour, it typically has flavours of green apple and stonefruit, but is very sensitive to terroir so can show a lot of variation.
