Yes! After gathering lots of emails from customers in our shop, bar and Instagram we have sorted through everyones dating preferences as well as age, and are now ready to bring you the first edition of WINE SPEED DATING.

HOW MANY WINE SPEED DATES?

Assuming full attendance, there will be

16 Women interested in Men aged between 28-37 years old

&

16 Men interested in Women aged between 28-37 years old

(A gay event planned for the future, dependent on signups)

WHERE, WHEN AND WINE?

The event will take place at our Berlin bar 'Blanc de Fuck' on Wednesday the 16.04.2025.

Your ticket price INCLUDES A BOTTLE OF WINE (!) which you will be given at the start of the event, which is yours to share with your speed dates and they will share theirs too! 

You do not have to finish the bottle on this night if you do not wish, and a cork will be provided to take it home with you if you wish.

The wine bottles on offer will be delicious, easy going & fun, think Patrick Bouju 'Mol', a Pet Nat from Domaine Bobinet or our STILL Frauenpower white collaboration bottle, as some examples. We aim to bring a lot of options, so that you do not try same wines again.

 If you wish to have a different bottle to drink and share, this is most welcome and we can do this with any wine on the menu minus 20 euros to replace the standard option :) This can be done at the bar before the event starts.

HOW WILL IT WORK?

Speed daters will have a nametag on them, and this will be useful for you to make a note of those you are interested in. You will also have some paper and a pen, to discreetly keep track of potential fits.

After the event, we will find mutual common ground (i.e both of you want to see each other again) and pass on the email IF it is a match.  There will also be some time after the event to reconnect with speed daters or friends you have done the event with.

Women will be seated around the bar in various places, bar placements and tables, and the men will be swapping their position when time to move dates.

Each date will last 7 minutes, and then a sound will signal a goodbye and a speed date swap.

We encourage people to share the wine they have with their SpeedDate of the moment, as it will also come back around to you as well, so you will have a lot of different wines to try and to discuss.

WHY DO THIS NATURAL WINE SPEED DATING?

We're confident this will be a great event to meet other natural wine lovers, and that is the key advantage here. You will only be meeting people who love natural wine, so you automatically have this in common. You also know if all your speed dates love natural wine, then they automatically love good food too. So... no need to waste time dating someone who doesn't love wine and food as everyone here will do!

The purpose of this wine being the common theme, is instead of the usual "What do you do, where are you from" style questions on a speed date, you can first focus on the wine you are drinking and enquire later for information.

EXTRA INFORMATION

Please be sure to click the right option before buying if you are a man or a woman, and let us know if you cannot come but due to the nature of this event, we cannot issue refunds.

We have seen most people signing up, and from what we can tell there are no weirdos and only nice personalities.

There will be some light snacks and nibbles provided, as well as breaks every 4 dates for you to use the bathroom, have a smoke, text a mate etc

Whilst we will not be eaves dropping or intruding on your speed date, if at any time you feel uncomfortable and want to end the speed date with someone, we will discreetly resolve the situation.
