Naturweine sind in der Toskana nicht allzu verbreitet, und Colombaia zeichnet sich als Qualitätsweinproduzent der Region aus, der sich in einem klassischen Stil widerspiegelt, der weder ausgefallen noch ungewöhnlich ist. Dies sind klassische toskanische Weine, die auf natürliche Weise hergestellt werden. Colombaia nutzt seine älteren Reben, von denen einige über 70 Jahre alt sind, und baut auf seinen 4 Hektar die traditionellen Rebsorten der Region wie Sangiovese, Colorino, Canaiolo, Malvasia Nera und Trebbiano an. Die von Helena und Dante Lomazzi geführten Weine des Weinguts können recht rustikal sein und weisen beim Öffnen manchmal Bretty-Noten auf. Daher empfiehlt sich eine Karaffe, damit sich der Wein richtig entfalten kann.
