Grolleau ist eine rote Rebsorte, die hauptsächlich im Loire-Tal in Frankreich angebaut wird. Sie wird auch in kleineren Mengen in anderen Regionen Frankreichs wie Anjou und Touraine kultiviert. Grolleau zeichnet sich durch seine lebendige Säure und seinen leichten bis mittleren Körper aus, sowie durch eine typische würzige, pfeffrige Note. Größere Produzenten verwenden es oft für Roséweine.
Das Loire-Tal ist bekannt für seine vielfältige Auswahl an Rebsorten, und Grolleau bildet da keine Ausnahme. Es wird oft mit anderen Rebsorten wie Cabernet Franc oder Gamay verschnitten, um dem endgültigen Wein Komplexität und Tiefe zu verleihen, wird aber natürlich auch alleine verwendet.
Beliebte Produzenten von Naturweinen, die Grolleau gut nutzen, sind Guillaume Noire, Philipp Delmee, Chahut et Prodiges und Francois Saint-Lo.
