Colombera & Garella
The Colombera & Garella winery is located in Masserano, in Northern Piedmont. Making natural wines, they cultivate 9.5 hectares of vineyards between the villages of Lessona, Masserano and Roasio. This presitigous estate uses only native grapes - Nebbiolo, Croatina and Vespolina.The winery is run by Carlo & Giacomo Colombera and Cristiano Garella, who make their elegant wines with passion and a sincere nod to tradition. Here, classic Piedmonte characteristics merge with a more modern, natural approach. We adored the Brameterra 2020, which gave us huge bursts of prunes, pepper and vanilla essence alongside an interesting vegetal note of tomato leaf/stalk that gave it a real edge! Absolutely beautiful!
