Cascina Tavijn

Nadia Verrua is a 4th generation winemaker at Cascina Tavijn, in the province of Asti, Piemonte. She's growing 9 hectares of vineyard at 300 m above sea level. Rolling hills of silt and sand, with sandstone deeper underneath. Like many young people who decide to stay connected to the vineyard, she decided to convert the vineyards to organic. Her natural, rustic, charming wines often made from less known local grapes became very popular in recent years, for a good reason.
