Rizling Vlassky 2018/2019

Rizling Vlassky 2018/2019 is a natural wine crafted by Hubinsky, in the Bratislava region in Slokavia. This white wine is made with Welschriesling grapes, which are called Rizling Vlassky in the country (also in the Czech Republic)

If you give it some time….This wine absolutely rocks!

After a carafe to allow the pickled elements to blow off, it me has petrolium notes like an aged riesling. Rounded, yet energetic and vibrant mouthfeel. INSANE value for money.

Vinification of Rizling Vlassky 2018/2019

Grown on brown clay soils of vineyards aged 40-50 years old. Vinification of Welschriesling vintage 2018 saw skin-contact for four days. Semi-carbonic maceration, with 30% of whole clusters poured over by fermenting must.
Fermentation in a stainless steel tank. Vintage 2019 saw skin-contact for three days and no added sulphur. Blended in September 2021.
