Jura with a wild side
The cellar approach of Marie Bourdon is equally spare, with additions and corrective handling avoided. Vinyle is made from directly pressed Chardonnay and, depending on the vintage, can be matured in wooden vessels and stainless steel before blending and bottling. The exact élevage changes with the conditions of each year rather than following a fixed recipe. This wine can have a wild side for sure depending on the vintage.
'Reps' combines Savagnin and Poulsard from old vines. This alone is quite an unusual approachThe grapes are picked by hand, macerated for around a week and then aged in stainless steel.
