Joujou 2022 is a sought after, vibrant and energetic natural wine crafted by Clos Bateau, in the Beaujolais region in France.

Specifically the domaine is based in Lantignié, a prized village just north of Lyon that many state should be the 11th Cru of Beaujolais! 

This red wine is made with 100% Gamay grapes, taken from 50 year old vines and TASTES AWESOME!

How does JouJou wine by Clos Bateau taste?

Full of energy with notes of Cherry Cola, bramble fruit, dark chocolate, vanilla and herbs. Really zings around your tongue, tasting electric. A real winner! Would work a treat with a killer cheese board or roast duck
